Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormonal disorders among
women of reproductive age, characterized by symptoms such as irregular menstrual cycles,
hyperandrogenism, and polycystic ovaries. The management of PCOS has traditionally
involved generic therapeutic approaches, including hormonal treatments, lifestyle
modifications, and insulin-sensitizing agents. However, the advent of personalized medicine,
which tailors medical treatments based on individual genetic, environmental, and lifestyle
factors, has raised significant interest in improving the management and outcomes for women
with PCOS. This paper explores the effectiveness of personalized medicine in the
management of PCOS, focusing on genetic factors, individualized treatment plans, and the
potential benefits of precision healthcare. Through a review of recent studies and clinical
trials, this paper examines the growing body of evidence supporting the application of
personalized medicine for improving the health and well-being of women with PCOS.
